What Is Chlorophyll?

Chlorophyll is the green pigment found in plants that helps turn sunlight into energy.


It was discovered in 1906 and was the first time magnesium was detected in living tissue.


Two types of chlorophyll exist: Chlorophyll A and B.


It is a good source of vitamin A, K, C, and E!


It is recommended that you get 100 mg of chlorophyll per day:


1 cup of spinach = 23.7 mg ½ cup parsley = 19 mg

1 cup green beans = 8 mg 1 cup arugula = 8mg 1 cup leeks = 8mg
